Freelance workers offer their services through a company or an agency that sells their labor work to others. They are completely independent in providing their services.
There are many fields where freelancing is common include; music, journalism, publishing, screenwriting, photojournalism, cosmetics, editing, event planning, event management, copy editing, proofreading, indexing, copy writing, computer programming, web design, graphic design, website development, consulting, tour guiding, video editing, video production and translating.
Work Income
Freelance work varies greatly. Some performer requires clients to sign a written agreement or contracts while rest of the freelancers may perform on verbal agreements, It depends on the nature of the work. Some freelancers may demand written estimates of their work and request advance payment from clients.
Payment for freelancing also differs greatly. It also depends on the nature of work. Freelancers may demand their fee by the day, hour, a particular rate, or on a project basis. Instead of a flat rate or fee, some freelancers adopt a fixed pricing method based on the nature of the work and outcome of the services to be provided to the client. For more complicated projects, a freelancer may demand a payment schedule that base on project.
In writing and other fields, “freelancing work” terms is often called for workers who have the abilities to work on their own skills and knowledge and require the publisher to publish them.

Freelancers generally feel a lot of enjoyment in getting a variety of assignments than in regular employment and have more freedom to choose their work schedule. They work independently and use their skills for better out come. The degree of flexibility and professional freedom that a freelancer enjoys and develops his skills. Freelancers don’t need to report to any body except themselves means that they are accountable for their own business decisions such as how often and where they work.
The key characteristic of a freelancer is a “choice of work” that enables a freelancer to refuse work to his client whose ethics are not good and you disagree with him. A freelancer is always free from restriction to work for more than one employer except specific agreement.
